For anyone who has read the book Speak?

Kristi asked the question:

I’m doing a project in school for the book Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. It’s an art inspiration project and I need to create a piece of art that goes along with one of these three quotes:

-”You must walk alone to find your soul.”

-”Art is about making mistakes and learning from them.”

-”Nothing is perfect. Flaws are interesting.”

This piece of art can be anything from a collage to a sculpture. It just needs to symbolize one of the above quotes. If anyone has any suggestions for what I can do, please help me out.
Please help, this could be an easy 10 points for a decent answer..

I haven’t read the book but, I got a glance at the movie and heard a bit of it online. If you want to do “You must walk alone to find your soul.” ..
try drawing a girl who is walking down the street and a image of her soul standing near her.

i read and liked the book speak so for the first quote you could do a girl in a garden but don’t show her features just draw a shadow or just don’t draw features. for the second one you could draw a person who looks like someone most people would shy away from like people who have deformities. for the third quote you could draw or paint or sculpt something that you really like but change them to make imperfections and give them flaws.

    I hope that helped
